10 things you can do with your life as a young person, graduate or not, Corp member or not, unemployed or not.
1. Learn a digital/soft skill (customer service, project management, coding etc) and get certified if possible (EDx, coursea etc)
2. Apply for opportunities in line with your interest (whether you feel you qualify or not. It's a great way to master how to tell your story)
3. Further your education (thousands of scholarships available for this).
4. Volunteer (work for free so you can learn)
5. Attend Educative conferences, inspiring sessions both on an offline (great for networking)
6. Develop meaningful professional relationships with these networks. (you may not need them today but 10 or 20 years from now you'll be shocked)
7. Develop a talent just for fun (music, writing, dancing etc) and enjoy it.
8. Sell something (even if it's groundnut and even if you sell once a week just engage in a trade)
9. Learn DIY (how to patch your shoe, how to tack your bra etc.. YouTube is your first stop. Don't spend money on everything)
10. Read, Read, READ and read in details. (Start with this post. I know you just scanned through ) .
Which one will you start doing today??
