Update: I'd Mourn In Egypt If We Lose The Bronze - Flying Eagles' Player
A Flying Eagles player who craved to remain unanimous has vowed not to set foot in Nigeria if the national team fails to beat Tunisia to the AFCON U-20 Bronze .
Nigeria will battle Tunisia for the Bronze medal on Friday after they lost narrowly to Gambia last Monday; and a player in the Flying Eagles squad has vowed not to return else he's coming back with the Bronze medal.
"I've never doubted our Coach, Ladan Bosso, he's a serial winner, and I know he must have studied our previous game against Gambia, saw our mistakes and will use it to our advantage against Tunisia," a representative of the player told NPFL Updates correspondent Thursday evening.
"Tunisia is a tough opponent, but I assure Nigerians we're not coming back empty-handed. We were all bitter after losing Gambia, it won't happen again."
"If by any mistake we lose out on the Bronze; I'd rather stay back in Egypt to mourn thajn return to Nigeria," he added.
