SEYI MAKINDE GIVES OLYMPIC EAGLES N10M, PROMISES ANOTHER $25,000

Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has promised Nigerias U23 football team a sum of 25,000 Dollars regardless of the result against their Tanzanian counterparts on Saturday.

The governor disclosed this while hosting the Olympic Eagles at the Government House, Agodi Ibadan on Friday night.

Governor Makinde also gave the team Ten Million Naira immediately after the dinner hosted by him.

The Nigerian team will lock horns with Tanzania in the second leg of the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Lekan Salami Stadium Ibadan on Saturday.

Both teams played out a 1-1 draw away at Tanzania in the first leg last week.
