The long-awaited moment has arrived as the outgoing President Buhari inaugurates the 19 Billion Dollar Refinery fully constructed by the Dangote company.
The Dangote Refinery is highly spoken about as it is a significant milestone for Nigeria and its economy. The largest single-train refinery is located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. It is expected to meet the demands of Nigeria and Africa. It can process 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day, which will help Nigeria reduce its dependence on imported petroleum products and boost its domestic refining capabilities.
The refinery will also create job opportunities, and contribute to the country's overall economic development.
Prominent persons joined the outgoing president to inaugurate this awesome project such as the Visioner himself, Dangote, Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana Elumelu of Transcorp, Dapo Abiodun, Billionaire Otedola, El-Rufai of Kaduna, Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party, Donald Duke of Calabar, Abia Governor-elect, Alex Otti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Onyeama, Ooni Of Ife, Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party, Billionaire Adedeji Adeleke, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Tambuwal of Sokoto, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole of Edo, Godwin Emefiele of CBN, Oba Oniru, Bukola Saraki of Kwara, Lai Mohammed amongst others.
